Not expensive but not worth it since it didn't work I bought this microphone to go with my daughter's karaoke so my son can enjoy also but did not work at all.
Sony Omnidirectional Microphone is so bad Sony Omnidirectional Microphone is smaller than usual one its sound is so little whenever and whatever I adjust it to. It makes me so upset. It sucks. Don't buy it. Don't use it. It is made in china. I want to send it back to the seller for a refund or exchange of other kinds of microphone. Please help me solve it.
Find something else I accidentally came across this mic while browsing and thought hey I've got one like this! So just to tell you guys don't waste your money on it so funny that it simply doesn't pic up sound any mic is better your webcam's your laptop's. And I thought Sony couldn't go wrong lol. Cheers.
poor pickup cuts out I have no idea why but it will be working fine then suddenly cut out and then a moment later back in. i have to have the gain on my mixer almost all the way up before it works somehow there seems to be a threshold before it can even start to pick up. I didn't see a listing for cord length but it's too short for comfort with karaoke and the cord seems thin and flimsy. Mic itself is very cheap and flimsy feeling.

Not happy. I read some of these other reviews that stated that this mic was cheap and did not pick up sound very well. I should have paid attention but it was cheap and it was from Sony so I figured how could I go wrong. Well the mic is a piece of junk and worthless to me. You have to cup your hand around the the end and with you mouth just a 1/2 inch from it's surface you have to shout for anything to be recorded at a near normal level. Perhaps this would be of some benefit for loud singing but for normal speaking level it is completely useless. It was cheap enough that I just wrote it off as the time and effort it would of taken to repackage and repost would not of been cost effective. Don't buy it. Spend a little more money and get something that works.

For all those who complained did you look to see what most other microphones go for??I have purchased 5 of these microphones for use in a homemade intercom system that my wife uses at horse shows. You have to use a preamp with this mic. I designed and built my own I am NOT an engineer either. This thing works fantastically low noise good voice quality and the intercoms are a couple of hundred feet apart connected with twisted pair telephone wire.
Not worth the money Santa brought this for Christmas. It did not last two days! The mic feels nice and heavy and looks great. The problem is in the wiring.
Good mic for amatuers I purchased this for my daughter who likes to sing. The quality is not high fidelity however it suffices for my needs. The delivery was timely and the product was as reviewed. I would utilize this seller again.
Seems decent I like the fact that the microphone is inexpensive. The different plug options are convenient. I am very happy with the length of the cord. The quality seems to be decent.
