Doesnt work with Windows 7 Should have checked other reviewers feedback before ordering does not work well with Windows 7 for some reason. You need to be about 1/2 inch from the microphone for it to pick up anything.
Good quality and easy to use. This is a very great mic for the price. When I bought it the shipping was very quick and I was happy to get my hands on a new mic. This mic however was very hard to get to work on my Windows XP SP3 but eventually got it working. However this does not contradict the fact that this is a very good mic with very good quality for a very good price. I would recommend this to people and I have found out my friends have already been using this.
Barely audible sound Mic only barely picks up sound if I'm speaking inches away from it. I made sure all my audio settings through windows were correct as well. Guess I got a dud it seems many people are having the same issue. I expected better from Logitech.

Hardly works I was looking for a better quality microphone than the one I have on my microsoft HD webcam. What a surprise I've read on the forums that when the record volume is barely audible and the record volume is 100% that it might be a bad product.
Wears Out For Full Time Telecommuter I'm a full time telecommuter and we are on voice chat all day. I've gone through two of these in 1 year. What happens is the mute button circuitry seems to get flaky and worn out and voice tends to bleed through then.Bottom line when it's in this state you can't trust that you are totally muted using the lighted switch.
Logitech USB Desktop Microphone Excellent but
Flimsy My dog knocked it over one time and it never worked right again. It didn't hit the floor hard at all but it never worked right again.My friends said I sounded muffled on Skype and Dragon had no idea what I was saying.
Range is nice First of all I noticed that this microphone was in the recent movie Avengers in front of the computers on board the ship. So that's a big plus.Anyway this microphone is very nice for any purpose. It's plugandplay usb. I use windows 7 64bit. This microphone can pick up the sound of someone talking about 20 feet away. I can adjust the levels from the control panel so it only picks up me talking about 3 feet away. The mute button is nice because I can quickly hit it when my roommate comes in and starts shouting obscenities into the microphone.
