Better than I had hoped for, Very clear when taping telephone conversations. Good to keep handy for many situations. I bought a digital recorder and the ear device for myself then one for my daughter as she loved it. I am also going to get another to keep in my purse and will have one at home handy. I am now using one at home for scam telephone calls and crazy calls I've been getting but in my case I will now carry one to use when at my doctors and in some situations where it is needed as our police are crazy in my town and can have proof if needed. Very handy to have for many things.

Olympus TP-7 Telephone Recording Device, Brought it a few months ago and works well with the olympus recorder but I have not tested it with others recorders. I think it's a good product at a reasonable price.
Fantastic Mic (but not speaker!), I initially thought perhaps this unit was broken...but it turns out I wasn't sure how it worked! It is NOT an earpiece, merely a microphone that sits in your ear! It pics up sound wonderfully and seems well made. Would be great to have a unit that was able to record as well as transmit.

It is slightly uncomfortable to have in your ear, so not necessarily ideal for longer conversations.
It works!, It works exactly as it is supposed to. It is easy to use and doesn't take up any room to store because it is so small. I also like that the cord is long enough to reach without pulling.
very affordable way to record calls, Simple and elegant solution to recording telephone interviews. I use it with a Olympus WS-700M Digital Voice Recorder 140152 (Grey) and the recordings are very clear and audible.

Using the Olympus TP7 with the I-Pod Touch, I received the Olympus TP7 and tried using it with my Ipod Touch since the Ipod Touch has recording capabilities. However, when I recorded a conversation the person's voice on the other line comes out very low. So low is the voice that it is more like a murmur; you can't really decipher what the person is saying. I had the volume to the max on the Ipod but to no avail. I do not know if the TP7 that I got was defective or if it simply does not work with the Ipod Touch. I would like to test it on an Olympus Digital Recorder, but I don't have one. To me it was more convenient to use it with my Ipod because I carry it everywhere all of the time and it is less obvious that you may be using the Ipod as a recording device.
