MUVI digital recorder This recorder is not very good good for documenting personal contacts as the view of the camera is too close if it worn on your person. If you are moving while it is recording then it will be very jumpy upon review. It is good for steady shots where it ios afixed to something stationary.
Never did get it to work I spent so much time trying to get this thing to work lites did not flash as indicated PC kept saying USB Device Not Recognized could not find update on drivers at the website finally gave up and returned it! Lost the monies on the shipping costs.
Video quality is rubbish useless as an incar accident recorder I really wanted to like the MUVI. The price is excellent the build quality feels great packaging was surprisingly high end for something in this range.However here is the catch it is COMPLETE unusable for any video capture purpose whatsoever. I dont expect HD but I expect video where you can make out what you are seeing. The MUVI is useless for home video sports or an an incar accident recorder which is why I bought it. The refresh rate is terrible the lens is poor and the images are hopelessly blurry. I am stunned by reviews where folks are saying the video is good my 5 year old cheap Logtiech Web Cam in infinitely more clear although with a slower refresh rateI purchased the unit to serve as an 'incar' accident recorder. Firstly you cant make out cars in front of you but they are so blurry that the video does not serve any legal/useful value. You most def CANNOT see the license plate even if it is a few feet ahead of your car and if the owner were to step out you cant make our their face.Secondly the video does not record with date and time which makes it of dubious value in this kind of a situation.Thirdly the refresh rate is so slow you could have a car bump into you and drive off and the video wouldnt show anything.Additionally the sound quality is beyond terrible not that big a deal for meFinally it does not overwrite files once the memory stick is full loop recording. That may or maynot be a good thing depending on how you use it.Forget using it for sports video as the advert claims the frame rate is too slow to see anything.
Micro Video Recorder Love the size but the SD card doesn't seat securely in the slot which makes it unreliable. It doesn't come with anything that enables you to mount it or attach it to something during record.
Decent product for the price Video quality is suprisingly good. The sound seems to have some problems but it could be related to how I have it set in place.
GREAT CAMERA This is a really good camera! i put it on my rc truck & my helicopters it took some great video footage. this is my third camera because the first two were horrible but this one blows them away. it down loads really fast to your computer & its just an all around great buy. the manual is easy to read & understand. Thanks Amazon.
Works sometimes A friend of mine has one that he put in his helmet of his motorcycle. I thought that was a great idea but when I got mine it works about one out of 10 times. You never know when it works or not. It always records sound but hardly ever video. I contacted the manufacturer and they said it was defective and send it back. I did and just got a new one and it has the same exact problem. I will keep it because it is cheap and works sometimes but if something exciting happens you can't count on it being recorded. I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody that is going to take it seriously. The manufacturer did get back to me in about 4 days and by my description suggested I send it back.
Just okay The camera is okay. It's small easy to use and takes great video. The audio is adequate. The biggest problem I had with this camera is that you need the accessory pack another $20 if you want to mount it on a bicycle helmet and the accessory pack is of very poor quality. In fact it's so bad that I no longer own the camera because it fell off my helmet today and got lost.
